Effective date: April 1, 2026
By accessing or using Turns Out (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Turns Out is a travel coordination app that lets you share future travel plans with friends and family. You can create trips with destinations and date ranges, share them selectively with people you choose, and discover when friends will be in the same place at the same time. The Service is designed to facilitate coordination — actual meetup planning happens off-platform through your preferred messaging apps.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:
You retain ownership of all content you create on the Service, including trips, comments, reactions, profile information, and any photos you upload (“User Content”).
By posting User Content, you grant Turns Out a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This includes showing your trips to friends you've shared them with, displaying your public profile, and rendering public trip links.
You may delete your User Content at any time. When you delete content, we will remove it from the Service promptly, though cached copies may persist briefly.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
The Service relies on the following third-party providers to operate:
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers, though we select providers that meet our standards for data security and privacy.
The Turns Out name, logo, branding, and all original content created by us (including but not limited to the app design, code, and documentation) are the intellectual property of Turns Out. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or proprietary materials without our prior written consent.
This does not affect your ownership of your own User Content as described above.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Turns Out is a coordination tool — we do not verify the accuracy of travel plans posted by users, nor do we guarantee that overlaps or other signals will be detected in all cases. You are responsible for confirming plans directly with your friends.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turns Out and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the Service or by email. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in activity that is harmful to other users or the Service, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. If we terminate your account, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and explain the reason, unless doing so would compromise the safety of other users or the integrity of the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Turns Out operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
If you have questions about these Terms of Service, contact us at legal@turnsout.app.
